There has been an influx of entries with non-compliant audio that have to be corrected by the cosplay/tech team. Going forward all audio will be required in advance of the contest. All contestants will be responsible for making sure their audio meets our requirements. All Youmacon attendees—badge holders, vendors, artists, contractors, and crew—must adhere to Youmacon’s rules, policies, and code of conduct. Violations may result in badge forfeiture without a refund yoomcoin and removal at the sole discretion of Youmacon and the venue.
Failure to check in will result in your spot being forfeit and made available for at-con signups. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from checking in, please advise the Cosplay DH in advance. We are open to working around any scheduling issues as long as we are made aware of them. The Weekend Badge provides access to all general events for this year’s convention.

Final placements and the list of accepted artists will be emailed closer to the event.— Dual exhibiting is not permitted. You can apply for both halls if you qualify based on the rules of each hall but can only display/sell in one hall.— A finalized vendor list and booth map will be shared closer to the event. - Call time for the green room is the same time for all other masquerade entrants.
- Again, ONLY Masquerade/International entrants will appear on stage during the Masquerade.
- A direct link to the application will be provided at that time.— Youmacon uses a juried selection process to ensure a high-quality experience for both artists and attendees.
- You may enter either or both Friday and Saturday Hall Cosplay contests, and/or the integrated Masquerade/International, provided that you have a different costume for each.
- For 2025, skits will only be taken in pre-registration format.
To pick up pre-registered badges (Platinum, Weekend, Single Day, and Chibi), present a physical government-issued photo ID and the QR code from the confirmation email (printed or digital) at the designated Platinum/Pre-Registration Booths during Registration hours. — No metal weapons, real firearms, or props loaded with high velocity projectiles are allowed. Shoes must be worn in public areas of the convention for your own safety.— What is illegal outside the convention is still illegal inside the convention. The artist application will be open July 12th – August 2nd 2025.
Youmacon Hours
If you’re unsure whether your outfit follows the dress code, please send a message on any of our social media accounts or ask the cosplay signup staff at the convention. Additional attractions include a charity costume ball, nightly concerts, an internationally recognized costume competition, and dedicated rooms for both video and tabletop gaming. This year’s event will feature appearances by well-known anime voice actors, gaming industry figures, and artists. There will be a Cosplay Registration table on Level 2 of Huntington outside room 259 (room subject to change). There you can find the required forms, as well as the list of available appointment times. This gives participants more time to adapt their entry if any issues are presented.

Like what’s the turnout normally like, and how are the panels/programming? I’ve tend to go to much bigger cons, but i’m looking for something fun to do towards the end of this year since there aren’t many options, and i just wanted to know if it’s worth checking out.
